Always Convenient, Never Stressful
At DeWood Dental Arts, we are committed to providing our patients with the knowledge and tools they need to make the best choices when it comes to their dental care.
To make your visit convenient, Dr. DeWood accepts a variety of payment methods and financial options. Our caring team is happy to answer any questions you have in regards to these too.
Call us for more information or see our patient forms packet for details.
Patients are seen by appointment only. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately, giving a minimum of 48 hours notice to avoid any missed appointment fees.
Ensuring You Are Cared For
As part of our service to you, we will assist you with your insurance claims.
If you have dental benefits through your insurance provider, your Bellevue dentist will help you determine the assistance you have available. To best assist you, it is important you submit your dental and medical insurance information to us with your New Patient paperwork a minimum of two business days before your scheduled appointment.
This allows us time to contact your insurance company and obtain a breakdown of the benefits you or your employer purchased from the company. Also, you will want to bring a dental benefit book that your carrier should be able to provide. Our business team will be happy to help you understand your policy.
‘‘I was in town from Kansas City, and a friend referred me to Katie for a toothache. It turned out I needed a cavity filled. She was extremely patient and VERY attentive to even the smallest details of my visit. I highly recommend this lovely lady! 5 stars!’’

What to Expect at Your First Visit?
Get a sneak peek into what happens during your first experience at DeWood Dental Arts.
Marlene at the front desk will greet you by name and with a kind smile. She will assist you with any outstanding paperwork, briefly discuss your concerns, and then answer any questions.
You will meet either Dr. DeWood or one of her assistants to discuss your concerns and goals. Our team will have done some background research based on your health history and will take some time to get to know you.
After meeting your Bellevue WA dentist, she will carry out a comprehensive exam using the latest technology. As part of our commitment to collaboration, you will be guided through what we see on a computer screen.
At the end of the exam, Dr. DeWood will spend some time with you discussing your treatment options and educate you on what she recommends. Next, you will form a plan together to boost your oral health.
